Hi everyone. I just did the auto-update feature for Mastercook 5.0 (cooking light version), but I'm not certain if it actually updated the software. Is there a way to check if it was done? It seemed to locate the items to update, but I'm not clear if I have to do something further to apply the update. Thanks!

Cindy,

I don't know anything about the Auto-Update feature. I have CL Mastercook 5.0 and have never heard about this auto-update. Sorry! Maybe you can go to their message board and ask. This link should take you there. Good Luck!

Are you saying you downloaded an upgrade from the Sierra website?

If so, all you need to do is click (on the top of your screen) HELP, then ABOUT MASTERCOOK...it should give you the version you are currently running.

Further questions can be answered on the Sierra website, they have a great forum with two very active, responsive moderators.

Thanks - I checked the Sierra website and posted a message on their board. To clarify, I have Mastercook CookingLight 5.0.1 and on the Sierra website under upgrades/patches it says that if your software has the "auto-update" feature, you should use that instead of downloading from the website. I did that, but I'm not sure if it worked, or what I may have upgraded, etc. Hopefully the Sierra website message boards will be able to help further. Thanks for your assistance, though.
