Found this recipe in the new recipe search on the CL Homepage...it's wonderful! While I was cooking (BTW the recipe takes over 2 hours but the aroma is wonderful) I was pondering what to serve it over. We have had rice the past 3 nights so I opted for pasta, would have preferred noodles but didn't have any. And mashed potatoes seemed good but not enough on hand.

So my question is, what is a typical side for a Greek stew such as this?

And I had another thought-is there a Greek community living in Cincinatti? I wonder this because this recipe uses ground cinnamon as does chili from Cincinatti. Granted my mind doesn't always follow a traditional route but I just wondered?

Couscous would probably be good. I don't think it is originally Greek but it's Mediterranean.

Good call, sneezles! It turns out the founder of Skyline Chili opened his first restaurant in Cinncinnati after immigrating from Greece. Here's a link to their site:
