Superfine and confectioner's sugar are different. Superfine is granualted sugar, but with finer granuales. Confectioner's sugar is powdered sugar and contains cornstarch.
Superfine is nice to use in a lot of baking recipes because it dissolves nicely.
Where I live, superfine sugar is usually labeled as "berry sugar".

What is baker's sugar then? I noticed some recipes now calling for baker's sugar? Is this also superfine, just labeled differently?

Is superfine sugar the same as confectioner's sugar? Can I use regular granulated sugar. I'm planning to make Cooking Light's Giselle's Angel Food cake that I found with a recipe search.

No, superfine sugar isn't the same as confectioner's sugar. Superfine sugar is granulated sugar that's finer. I seem to recall that you can put your sugar in your food processor and whir it a bit to get superfine sugar. It's worth a try...

Superfine sugar can be found side by side with the regular granulated sugar in the grocery aisle. Check and see..same price and everything...it is ground finer.
