I heard really great things about this book so checked it out from the library. I didn't find a single thing in it that I was tempted to make. I'd also love to hear from anyone who has actually tried any of the recipes.

I also checked this book out of the library, then bought it!
I made the Apple Chicken when granny smith apples were in
season. It was different and I thought good. The recipes
aren't complicated and I plan on trying some more at some
point. Anyway, here is the recipe. I didn't have it in
Mastercook so I googled it and found it on ediets.com.

I am curious too. I looked at it at Borders last night, but wasn't 100% so didn't buy it. I knew I could find an opinion about it here. I should be responsible and get it from the library first.

I also noticed there are 2: Saving Dinner and Saving Dinner the Low Carb Way...I assume the above yummy recipe is from just "Saving Dinner".

Gail, you are right, the Apple Chicken recipe is from the "Saving Dinner" cookbook, not "Saving Dinner the Low Carb Way". I hesitated on the Low Carb Way version because I assume it had a higher fat content.
Any other opinions on this book? I just got it from the library and it looks like the kind of book my college student daughter might enjoy.
TOT- she just finished her first year training to be a vet tech- tons- of work but she loves it! :)

Kima,
I still like this cookbook, "freezer cooking" is what I need
to do. Hope you get some other opinions.
