Going to make the Lemon Blueberry Pound cake (the early version with the cakemix). Son #2 birthday dinner tomorrow!
I am going to use frozen blueberries from TJ. I don't remember do I wash the berries or thaw them, or use them frozen from the bag!
Any suggestions, PLEASE!

Good thing I didn't answer on my own - I would have said to add them frozen. :o

Yes, I just wanted to know if it wouldn't be better to use the berries frozen and hoped someone else had made it that way! I hadn't made it in years, and then used "home frozen" berries that needed to be rinsed.

Have you made the cake yet??
I would definitely leave them frozen! I never rinse the store-frozen blueberries, and mixing them in when thawed may turn that batter a lovely shade of bluish-gray. :p (Won't affect the taste, but the color is a little less than appetizing. :o )
