My honeybells arrived yesterday, I had one right away! They are really juicy and good.
Question - Should these be kept refrigerated or at room temperature?

Well, do you like to eat them cold or room temperature? And did you order so many that spoilage might be an issue? If "yes" to the latter, by all means refrigerate, but otherwise, it's a matter of taste. I like mine good and cold, but also like to keep a decorative bowlful somewhere in the house.

Shame on me. I have never had a honeybell. Never even heard of them until recently. Do you think they are available at WF? I have to give them a try!
One more reason I love you folks on this BB! Honeybells. Who knew?

Mine arrived today too! :D
Missindi, they are a really sweet and juicy orangelike citrus hybrid that you can only get this time of year.
I ordered mine from hale.

Thanks for the info and the link. Never heard of them ... "oh how I love the BB ... let me count the ways!" ;) They're in my cart -- any other "must have" from there?

Mine arrived yesterday and they are all everyone said and more!! I am thinking about ordering another box! I ordered mine from Cushman's. I wonder how many orders they (and Hale's)got from people who had never heard of them before as a result of this BB?
I know I was one.

Never heard of Cushman's either, but found them. They're about $6 cheaper for shipping than Hales. About how many are in a 9-10 lb box?

Thanks for the info, Bob. I like them cold too, so I will put in the frig.
I got mine from Cushman's this year. It was a 10# box with 24 nice size honeybells in it. They are sooooooooo juicy. I ordered some last year (not from Cushman's) and they weren't this good. It was worth the extra couple of bucks to buy Cushman's. I know these will get eaten.
Good luck!

There were 24 in my box and with shipping the total cost was about $35. Which makes each honey bell less than $1.50 - very reasonable for as good as they are!

Well I'm very jealous. I ordered mine from Cushman's - for delivery the week of the 17th. No honeybells yet!

That is what they told me also, and I got mine yesterday, so I am sure yours are bound to arrive soon. Think "Anticipation"
