Well, be careful what you wish for.....you just might get it!!! :D
I was wishing for hazelnut oil for the longest time, and Canice, who works in a fine food shop, sent me some!!! And this is no ordinary, run-of-the-mill hazelnut oil, but the highest grade stuff there is! It's so wonderful.....we were joking that I'd be dabbing it behind my ears (and I just might! :D ). In addition, she also sent a tin of Herbes de Provence and packed the box with a whole bunch of food sections from the San Francisco newspaper! What a wonderful, wonderful gift!
I'm again amazed and overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity of the people on this board!! And as I said in the title of my post, I feel so lucky!
Canice, I can't say thank you enough, and I promise I am going to thoroughly enjoy that oil! I'm going to start with a salad dressing for dinner tonight, and then I'm going to go back to that CL article that featured all the different recipes using hazelnut oil (which prompted my original search) and start trying some things out!
