Does anyone have a CL recipe for Leg of Lamb or Lamb Chops that they like??? I believe I tried the Garlic Studded Lamb a few months ago, but can't remember what grade we gave it. Any help appreciated. Thanks, LaurieC

I currently have a boneless leg of lamb in the fridge for Easter. I would love to hear about favorite recipes.

I just did a search on Epicurious for "leg of lamb" and found 45 recipes. Whew!

This is a little late.... Maybe for next time?

Emeril had a marinade for a leg of lamb that was really good. Red wine, Dijon mustard, herbs and olive oil. We bought chops, and there is just the two of us so I halved his recipe. I got it off the foodtv web page. My DH raved about these.

another late reply, but I made a small leg of lamb yesterday and used the recipe "Patrick Sage-y Crusted Lamb Loin With Angel Hair Pancake and Broken Hearts of Palm Teardrop Tomato Salad, Mar '99, p. 160". The meal was excellent. The hearts of palm salad will be made often in our house.

My first leg of lamb was a success. All I did was make a paste of minced garlic, salt, pepper, and olive oil, and smeared it over the roast about 2 hours before cooking. Then drizzled red wine over it. It came out really well. Nice and simple.

For the third year in a row I made the Martha Stewart cook book version with sliced garlic and fresh rosemary leaves inserted in slits all over the roast. Slather with olive oil and salt and pepper, bake, heavenly! Now what shall I do with the leftovers? Any suggestionss?
