Okay, okay, okay....so I didn't make it the whole way without a glass of wine, but guess what? I haven't been in an elevator since the beginning of Lent and now I probably will avoid them all together unless I am at the Peachtree Plaza, Empire State Building, etc. I figure I have walked on average 30 flights of stairs every day since Lent (except weekends) and I still get winded but my butt is getting smaller (can't beat that). How did you do? And....Happy Easter

Great job with the elevator, iqueen!

I did fine with the sweets, but forgot about the daily readings! I almost slipped up the other day - I was making CL's Cream Cheese Cookie Cups and one fell apart coming out of the pan. Of course you're sort of obligated to eat the broken ones and I almost did, just out of habit. Fortunately I remembered just in time!!! But that wasn't me being tempted, just forgetting.

It's been quite hard this time around and I'm dying for something sweet (just in case you didn't see my tortured tears on the chocolate recipe thread http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif ).

We did great (gave up eating out - including take-out and cafeteria). I do have to confess that we had a built-in "cheat week" because our vacation was during Lent and we went to visit my sister. I did cook them 3 recipes from CL tho'. http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif

I had a two-part Lenten thing. One part was to exercise 5-6 days per week, and I started getting up early to do it before work. I did great with this, and I'll probably stick to it, because it worked really well.

The second part I didn't do so well on. I was going to follow a Weight Watchers point plan, but I got into trouble around St. Patrick's Day and never quite got back in line.

But at least I'm in better shape than when I started!
