Any one see it? What did you think? I don't want to post anything specific in case someone hasn't seen it yet. All I can say is I am extremely disappointed.

I am very disappointed too. I have watched this show every year since it started and always get disappointed when the best team does not win. I was so hoping for the right outcome this year like it was last year. This is one of those shows that you watch all year, get to know the contestants and then it comes down to a little dumb this and the team that has been the nicest to everyone, including each other, and played the game the best, comes in a few minutes behind....sucks.

I was really hoping Kris and Jon would win. Sighhh.

The next episode starts March 1 already! That's fast! I saw in the previews that one of the contestants was a POA in Iraq. I'll root for him over that Survivor couple.

Another one who was hoping for Kris and Jon. What did you think about the proposal? I wonder if Hayden felt weird after the way she acted at the lock roadblock... I'm sure it was frustrating but I'd like to think I could stick with it for a million dollars!

Jon proposed? I missed that!

I was disappointed too. There has only been one winner that we've liked - Chip and Kim. I will keep watching though. I love this show.

I couldn't believe Hayden just quit like that, after they'd made it so far. And then, after the day they had of her whining and complaining and worrying, Aaron proposes. I think the race really wore on her- in the beginning she was more humorous and sarcastic rather than anxious and teary.

Nice irony that Kris and Jon were given incorrect flight information by a clerk from American Airlines, which sponsors the show. In the end it wasn't the deciding factor since they got on the same train as Freddy and Kendra in Chicago, but still.

I was disappointed that Freddy and Kendra won because I didn't like them much, but c'est la vie. I'll be watching again in 3 weeks!

I must have missed that on a bathroom break :(

At least it wasn't Rebecca and horn-boy.

I was disappointed with the winners, and that the final task was eating a pizza? That was it? I was hoping for at least another task that they had to do that wasn't dependent when a place opened (so they could bunch up) but it would give someone an opportunity to get ahead or fall behind. Maybe something that involved thinking that wasn't purely a physical challenge.

Oh well, there's always the next show in 3 weeks!

I was on the phone during the middle of the show and thought there was a proposal but I wasn't sure. Did he actually carry a diamond around the world with him?

It kindof came down to Kris and Jon getting stuck at the train crossing. If they could have run across then, maybe it would have been close.

I didn't know a new one starts so soon! I'm hooked now after this first season (well first for me).

Tell me more about the proposal, I missed it!

I was fumin' last night, I wanted Kris & John but even would have settled on Rebecca and Adam. And that train, I would have been so mad if I were Kris & Jon.

Hayden was driving me crazy "Aaroooon, do something! Do something Aaroooon!" - ugh!

I was so dissapointed. I wanted Kris & John to win. They just have such a good attitude about life and each other. I about choked when Freddie said Kendra had a beautiful soul. Excuse me she's a rude and obnoxious snob.

I thought it was a tad shallow of Hayden & Aaron to run so hard to finish third when they didn't finish the roadblock. BTW, no Aaron did not have a ring when he proposed.

All I can say is that I won't be rooting for Rob & Amber! :D

Did anyone else catch Kendra say about Freddy "He's definately worthy of having my children"

I think they were already engaged.

I didn't like Kendra. If I was the CBS early show people, I would ask her to explain her statements that she made in Ethiopia

I don't want Rob and Amber to win next season. Plus they want to put their wedding on TV too.

Do you really think Rob loves her or is he the master of all TV reality shows? I hope he does but only time will tell.

I was just laughing because she made it sound like he needed to prove something to her, that she was royalty or something!

I laughed too. And of course it made me remember her awful "they just keep breeding and breeding" comment in Africa. I'm sure Kendra will view her own children as a major contribution to society.

But I remember that at the beginning of the show when they introduced Freddy and Kendra, they highlighted their disagreement over whether or not to have kids and when, since she is much younger than him. So I guess her comment is in reference to that. I wonder if the producers prompt them to re-visit the issues that were stated at the beginning of the show.

I also liked seeing Adam skydive last night w/o his usual whimpering and "I love you, Mom!"

I was so disappointed. Kris & Jon really deserved to win, and I thought there was a chance they could pull it out when Freddy & Kendra's cab driver was lost. I still can't figure out how Kris & Jon got so far behind when they were on the same train as Freddy & Kendra.

The proposal was LAME. At least they didn't make the final 3, though. I can't stand Hayden and I can't believe Aaron would want to marry her after this whole event.

And Kendra's statement about "he's worthy of having my kids" made me want to puke. Sorry, but I'm with Leigh - she's a spoiled, pretentious snob. Her comments and attitude throughout the race just disgusted me.

I could have screamed at that stupid train!

How about this? Aaron should dump Hayden for Rebecca and let Hayden take up with Adam since they clearly deserve one another!;)

LOL - When Rebecca and Hayden were trying to unlock one of the locks, I said to DH that Rebecca and Aaron should just team up and leave the other two there to get eliminated together :p

I actually caught my breath when I saw that train. I was afraid they'd dive under it or something to keep from losing. And what was up with gagging on the pizza? I could eat that much pizza without thinking twice, but then I'm not usually telling my husband to shut up while I'm eating it.

I don't think the train made a difference in terms of who won. While Freddy and Kendra were on the mat, you could hear the train in the background, so they were already there. The way they edit things is deceptive sometimes. The real problem for Kris and Jon seemed to be back when they got off the train to go to the Water Tower. Kris and Jon should have asked for directions while they were on the train and had it worked out, and instead they were looking at the map once they got up to the streets. I looked back at the profile information on Kendra and Freddy and it talks about Kendra's organization and Freddy's sense of direction. I think those really turned out to be factors in the winner - they knew exactly where to go when they got off that train. I was really disappointed because it seemed like Kris and Jon had such a good chance to win and they were my favorite team after Gus and Hera were eliminated.

I was disappointed too...I can't stand Freddy & Kendra, but to be honest I did think they had a better leg than Kris & Jon. Oh well, I guess they deserve each other. I can only hope that Kendra sees herself on TV and realizes how shallow she is, and uses some of her prize money to expand her horizons a bit!! Did anyone else notice how excited she was when they found out they were going to Hawaii? Hello? You've been all around the world and you get that excited about HAWAII?? We also noticed that she got a terrible edit in the preview to the finale...all her very worst comments/moments were included.

DH and I were cracking up about the pizza, but it looked like all the teams had problems with it so I think maybe it was harder than it looked. It was deep dish, so maybe there was a ton of stuff on top. Still, for $1M I think I could eat pizza!!

We also loved seeing Adam do the skydiving...he seems like he has really gotten something out of the whole race experience. Maybe now he will finally move out of his mom's house.

I think our favourite line of the episode was in the train in China, when Adam said something like "[Kris's] raging b**ch is like [Rebecca] on a good day". Hee hee! Also loved Kris & Jon's "Chinese" conversation in the cab.

I've eaten at Gino's East several times - yes, the pieces are very thick and full of ingredients, but two pieces? NOT difficult for any of us normal folks.

Well..Kendra IS a model. I'm sure she's not used to eating two BITES of pizza -- much less two whole pieces!

Where did you hear that?
On the CBS Early Show on Wednesday Rebecca said that the two of them were engaged ---- but I'm pretty sure she was joking (it was while they were talking about how Freddy/Kendra and Hayden/Aaron are engaged, and Kris/Jon are living together)

She definitely was joking - she kind of rolled her eyes when she said it. I don't see those two having a future together - at least I hope not! I will give him credit for sort of breaking out of his shell and jumping out of that airplane. I'm not sure I could have done that.

Well, my usually very reliable DH told me. After I read these comments I called him at work and asked him where he got his info. Turns out a coworker told him but he doesn't know where she got her info. Oh well, I feel both foolish:o and relieved.

I'm with elnant on why Kendra struggled with the pizza - it's probably more food that she'd normally eat in a year. :D She does love herself a lot doesn't she - all hail Princess Kendra!

Dr Love and I were both devastated that Kris and John didn't win. Sigh. We really liked them. I want to be Kris!! Their Chinese conversation was so funny - Dr Love and I spent the rest of the programme yelling at each other during the ad breaks "I love you!" "Do you want a hot chocolate!?" "You are very sexy!" "Pass me the remote!"...

Ack, and that "Do something Aaron" thing - holy chocolate that woman is annoying! Yes Aaron, please learn fluent Chinese in the next thirty seconds. Now!!!

As long as Rob and Amber don't win the next series...
