I was perusing Amazon (as one does) and came upon this book. It looks rather cute-and the recipes, though not all that unique looked good.
Does anyone own this book? Is it worth buying???

Missindi I am hoping this entices you to buy it.......:D :p

I think you've done enough enticing for one day. I never heard of this cookbook before, but I clicked on the link, and then I clicked on "See inside this book." Usually this doesn't show any of the actual recipes, but in this case a few of the sample pages do have recipes on them. And one was for Buttermilk Cherry Muffins. And I have buttermilk, and I have dried cherries. Even though I never make muffins, I thought I would help you out by making these, just as a random act of kindness. I had part of a Ghirardelli dark chocolate bar, so I put some chunks of that in two of them, one of which I have now eaten, and it's very enjoyable. They're good with just the cherries, too, but probably pretty much like a lot of other muffin recipes. I would add a little orange zest or almond or something if I made them again. OK, that's my good deed for the day.

Thank you Clover!!

But it would be a better deed (?) if you sent a muffin for me to taste taste....that's all I am saying! ;) :)

You're right, but I don't want to go overboard. But I will think of you with each muffin.
