Didn't everyone read Death of a Salesman or The Crucible in high school? Arthur Miller was a true American literary voice and I imagine that his plays will endure well beyond his mortal life.
Godspeed, Mr. Miller.

I heard that this morning, sad. At least he and Marilyn will be reunited, though I wonder if her connection was bigger with Joe DiMaggio. I know until Joe died, he left roses on her grave weekly. Talk about undying love. :)

He was certainly talented and lived a long and interesting life. I wonder who will now be considered America's greatest playright. May he rest in peace.

So sad! I found his plays a bit depressing for me, but it's always sad when a great talent passes on. :(

I believe it was Joe DiMaggio that left the flowers on her grave:

Probably wasn't clear ... I meant it was Joe that was leaving the roses...
