I recently bought (and froze) saffron linguini at a local market that makes their own pasta. It sounds delicious to me and I was thinking of using pan seared scallops for over the top. What else sounds good to you? A friend suggested braised short ribs. I'm going to make it tonight for a romantic dinner! Thanks for any suggestions.

I haven't seen saffron linguini for ages - lucky you! The scallops sound wonderful. When I could find it, I used it for clams and linguini (not the tomato based sauce kind) and it was wonderful. Enjoy!

thanks, that sounds great with the clams too. I just thought too that I could add Linguiza portugese sausage. yum...
