Uh - oh - Tyler's Got a New Cookbook Coming Out!!

I was just perusing Amazon and saw that Tyler Florence has a new book coming out on April 12, 2005 - Eat This Book - Cooking with Global Fresh Flavors.

I have his first one and have made a couple of things out of it that were pretty good. I'll have to wait for more info on this one, though.

Uh, yup, that's an awesome picture of him. He lives in Chinatown (in NYC) and from the looks of the background, that's where the picture seems to be shot. Maybe it's on his street!

I actually applied last year for the Food 911 show, got a phone call, but nothing after that... maybe after we move, it's time to reapply. :D Funny how the lion's share of his guests seem to be women.

I'd buy the book just for the cover. *drool* Of course, I'd probably get too distracted looking at the pretty pretty picture to ever get around to opening the book. Hopefully someone here will post a breakdown on some of the recipes.

Well ladies, I have in my hand Tyler's new cookbook. I saw him on the Today Show this morning and he said all the photography was shot at his house.

Chapters in the cookbook are:

- Eating
- Devouring
- Noshing
- Consuming
- Tasting
- Savoring
- Licking the Plate Clean

Once the girls go to bed tonight, I am sitting down with this and enjoying it. :)

Yes, I thought those chapter titles were rather....sensual. Or maybe my mind is just in the gutter because it's Tyler's book.

There are mostly food shots in the book, but about a dozen of him, too. (Unfortunately, there's one of the GF, too. :rolleyes: ) ;)
