What about where you live? Is it Springtime there, yet?

Well, no snow here but just yesterday it was 88º but then a "norhter" blew in and today's high is only 56º and it's been raining off and on all day. Not complaining about the temp tho cause 88º was a little too high a little too soon!

One of the few times that the weather in Rochester, NY, is better than the weather in Virginia! No snow but cold -- 40 or so? But spring is coming ... the forsythias are budding and the daffodils are blooming!

The weather here in New England has been a tipical Spring one but I guess we are expecting some snow tomorrow. I don't think it will amount to much though. http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif

O.K. I hate to gloat, but it's sunny warm and a great temp of 93 degrees! I'll be sure to send some of our warm weather your way!

Jmarie - I am in VA also and I cannot believe this weather, especially after the wonderful 70 degree days we have been having.

Guess I will have to put a tarp or something over my outdoor plants and herbs. Actually, this is my first time gardening...what is the protocol to protect plants during a freeze? Thanks in advance!

Gloating here also. Sunny, a little breeze and low to mid 80's. Perfect weather!

since others are already gloating, i don't feel too bad about adding news of our 'cold front' coming through - it should be about 75-80 tomorrow, sunny, blue skies... http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif

Anne,

I just down the way from you! It's going to be a long, hot summer with our temp's already in the low 90's. Should cool a little--won't go there.

Petunia's and geraniums are choking for the
80's. Moved all container plants in shade.

Will start my warm weather cooking soon (salads and grilling)!

I have to add my 75 degrees of yesterday here in San Diego. It was a lovely completely blue sky day with a slight ocean breeze.... May the breeze blow some sun your way!

Greetings from Canada! Just had to let those of you, who still think we live in igloo's, know that it was 70' today!! The tulips and daffodils (sp?) are in bloom and the leaves are slowly forming on the trees and shrubs. I think the east has been the coolest region this year but we're lovin' it in the west!!

The far NW peninsula was beautiful today. Water brilliant blue, ships and sailboat of all colors, cherry trees, daffodils all out and high is the mid 50's.

In Anchorage, Alaska it's been hanging between 40-45 degrees in the daytime and is warm and sunny http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/wink.gif, and at 32-35 degrees at night<< the weatherman says it "feels like 23 degrees though". Lol!
I'm soooo excited about the warm weather to come, planting and gardening, & just bein' outside! And while you're at it-please send some of that warm weather this way, ok? http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif Zinnia
