In the past two months I've "discovered" two new products that exceeded my expectations, which doesn't happen often.
I thought I'd share my finds and I would like to hear about yours.

1) Ray's NY Bagels--found in the freezer section at my grocery store. This is absolutely the best bagel I've had that wasn't fresh--but it does beat the heck out of many fresh bagels I've tried.

2) Pronto 2-in-1 by Electrolux-- This is a rechargeable cordless vacuum clean for hardwood floors and tile. The head swivels 180 degrees, and it has a wonderfully powerful detachable dustbuster gadget. I used to swiffer all the time, which does a great job with dust, but doesn't get particles. This seems to get both. It is really light weight too. http://www.best-vacuum.com/images/elux-pronto.jpg

I'm hoping this thread gets bumped often and becomes a good resource for all of us.

Crystal Light "To Go" packets....ten packets to a box and I find 1/2 of one packet is perfect for a 20oz bottle of water so I usually buy a bigger bottle and use the entire packet. Comes in raspberry ice, lemonade and peach iced tea.

LOVE IT.

Baby Simply Saline - It creates a little spray mist so it has been sooooo much easier getting it up 10-month-old DS's nose (who seems to always be stuffy). I can even put it in while he's drinking his bottle.

Just wanted to bump this up to say thanks for the recommendation for Crystal Light To Go packets - they're awesome! I picked up a box of my favorite flavor, Raspberry Ice, and have been keeping them in my car for when we're driving around on the weekend running errands. Very convenient!

Also, I recently discovered at Whole Foods Hans' Chicken Sausages in various flavors (our favorite is sun-dried tomato and basil). They're so nice to have on hand for super-fast weeknight dinners when we don't have time/energy to cook - saute up a couple of sliced sausages and toss with a box of cooked pasta and some prepared pesto (also from WF) or other sauce. Yummy and easy. :)

Does this work on rugs, too?

We have wooden floors, linoleum-type tile and floor rugs. I banished the big vacuum cleaner to the garage, and I've been using a dust buster on the rugs, but it takes a lot of energy to do.

I second the nomination for Crystal Lite to go, except I buy the Good Value brand at Walmart for lots less.

I love the spray on wrinkle remover. Not a new product, but one I'd not tried till lately. It works very well on knits.

Snapple Diet Tea...hard to find in my area but I buy it because it doesn't taste as "diet" as lots of diet drinks.

Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. Not new but it is to me. I can't believe the way it gets rid of the scuff marks on the stairs from the back of shoes.

Yet another vote for the Crystal Lite packets.

Colleen, I don't know about the Electrolux, but I have a similar cordless stick vacuum made by Eureka that I love. It does work on rugs quite well. With 2 kids, a cat and a dog in the house, I still pull out the big vacuum a couple of times a week, but it does a good job on the daily crud. I imagine if it was just DH and I it would probably be all we need (it certainly does at least as good a job as a dustbuster would, and probably better since it has a beater brush and it seems like more suction too).

Nope, this one is just for bare floors.
