The name of the newest member displayed on the forums home page?
It makes me wonder whether we're about to seriously trolled or if Joyce has (yet again) forgotten her password!

I haven't noticed, but I'll be the first lemming in line. ;)

Ok, I'm opening myself up to countless pot/kettle comments, but that was pretty mean, BobMark226.

Wow. I'm sure she thought of you as a friend - although I can't imagine why.:(

Nah. If I were gonna do such a thing, I would have opted for Cheezhat.

For someone who preaches tolerence and acceptance, Bob, you can be very hostile toward others. I guess the golden rule doesn't apply to you. :(

What, exactly, is it about a preference for civility and kindness that makes us "snotty," Bob?
Dirty martini, please. Double.

Hey, Exemplary Deb, do I need to pull up your "I wish things were nicer here" post again?

Nope. No need. That was so five minutes ago. Catch up, bob.

BTW, better find the leak in your PM communication list before you start grumping about everyone privately - just a heads up.
And that's the best information you'll ever get here. Take heed.

You know, if she can dish it out (http://community.cookinglight.com/member.php?action=getinfo&userid=13449), I bet she can take it.

<random tangent>
On another BB that I frequent, instead of WtF, they say "Where's the Fruitbat?" Hehe, always makes me laugh. Sorry, for going off topic...

I'll bite.
What was the newest member's name, that made you think I was about to seriously troll you or that I had lost my password.
Joyce
OK, I went back and re-read Bethany's post and saw that the newest member was mjarie. And out of curiosity, I did a search and that person doesn't exist, so just another one of bob's imaginary friends.
To which I will say, cute, bob. Slow day at work? Nice work fancypants!:D ;)

Bob, I revisited this and may owe you an apology for calling you fancypants. I wonder how often you visit the newest member forum to notice new member names or if the one who did it notified you and you had a pang of conscience, but I believe that what you did may have been a head's up more than anything.
So, I guess a thank you, is in order. I think you could have handled it differently, and avoided controversy, because what you said bothered me as much as what anyone would have done with the username.
One thing for sure, there are adults on these boards who are sure acting like children. No since in pointing fingers, as they (and quite a few others) already know who they are.
Someone PM'ed me recently and told me that you and your group of friends PM each other calling me a MORON. I have to laugh because, who is the MORON, now? Folks that do this with user names....Well, I leave this for the forum members to decide.
Anyway, thanks for the heads up.
Joyce
