I may have just found a new favorite ingredient (like chipotle pepper last year). This is really tasty stuff. I had spicy chicken and Chinese rice noodle dish last night and served Miso Soup with Enoki Mushrooms...well sort of, Couldn't find the mushrooms, so I subed dried shiitake, and for the bonito, I used a couple tablespoons fish sauce. Also had Chopped Salad with Ginger-Miso Dressing, and made it like the recipe. They were both very good, and I would make them again.

I agree with you! We liked the soup too - and the peanut sauce for the chicken-lettuce wraps is great on those, but also on cold noodles for a quick healthy salad - with shredded carrots, green onions, red pepper strips, a few chopped dry roasted peanuts on top. YUM!

I have a cold so I may not be thinking straight, but where are these Miso recipes? In an issue of CL? I would love to try some of them - especially the peanut sauce for lettace wraps.

Check out the March issue of CL. I believe they're in there.
