I don't remember who posted this, but is this it?

Here's my coleslaw recipe - try it once and you will absolutely love it - no one will believe it's almost fat free!

1 (I think it's 16 oz?) bag of Dole shredded cabbage and carrots (or any brand)
- or -
2 bags of that broccoslaw stuff (also great - probably has more vitamins)

1/3 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup non-fat mayo
1/4 cup buttermilk
1-1/2 Tblsp. cider vinegar
2-1/2 Tblsp. fresh lemon juice

Mix the dressing ingredients well in a small bowl with a wire whisk until the sugar is dissolved and the dressing is creamy. Pour over the cabbage or broccoslaw and toss together well. Cover and refrigerate 2 hours (but I think it's still great even if you eat it right away, which I always do!!)

Enjoy!!

Grace submitted this recipe, and it is fabulous! I made it last weekend with hotdogs, and because it is truly the best coleslaw I've ever tried, I forwarded it on to my sister.

I tried this recipe last weekend and it was FABULOUS!!! I would highly recommend this one. My finace didn't believe it wasn't the "real" thing. I even used powdered buttermilk and 1 percent milk and it was still super. Thanks for the recipe!! http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/biggrin.gif

Hello Fellow CLers!

On the "old board" someone posted a tried and true coleslaw recipe that I wanted to make, but now I can find where I put it. :-( Can someone PLLLLLLeeeeeeeaaaasssee repost it? I think it was in the June recipe feedback post. Thanks!

THANK YOU, GRACE!! I'll give another rousing endorsement for this tasty coleslaw recipe! We are "sweet" coleslaw fans, and this is as good/better than my previously treasured, handed-down thru the family slaw dressing recipe. AND THANKS for the tip about the powdered buttermilk substitute, since it's not always a staple in my fridge! You guys are SO-O-O creative! Hugs!

I also made this recipe last weekend -- it is GREAT!!! I used the shredded broccoli mix and it kept three days. Definitely a KEEPER. http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif

WOW!

I've been away for a few days and just came back to lots of messages to read. I was going to post the recipe again as was requested (I hadn't had time before I left), but I'm awfully glad someone found it and posted it for me.

Glad you all really liked it....I was so happy and excited when I found the recipe several years back, and am glad to share it with everyone. Can't believe so many people went and made it, but that's great!! Thanks for all the feedback, too...
