how long can a whole chicken stay ok in the freezer? i bought one in..early january. how long do you think it's ok for?

If it was wrapped for freezing it should be just fine.

It should be fine for 6 months, unless you used a Foodsaver - then it would be good for over a year!

I asked a similar question a few months back, and people told me about chickens and other meat they'd had in their freezers for a year or more. So I cooked a chicken that I'd had hanging around for quite a while, and it was fine.

So, I wouldn't worry about a couple of months.
