You had posted that you had a PC recipe for bread bowls, would you be able to post it-or anyone else? I am making the Chicken Santa Fe served in bread bowls for a luncheon, if I can get a really easy recipe. TIA

Take a package of crescent rolls or bread dough and shape it around the mini baker and bake until golden. That's a bit large for one person though.
Another idea is take canned biscuits and shape around muffin tins and bake. I've done this with tuna salad. By the way, take cookie dough and bake it around muffin tins and it's great for a dessert bowl.

Oops, just saw this. I will go look up my recipe and get back to you!
Okay, got it. This recipe comes from the Antipasto Salad Bowl (Pampered Chef recipe)
For the bread bowl, preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly spray the outside and bottom of Stoneware Baking Bowl with oil (if my memory serves me well, I had to spray it heavily); place upside down on counter. Unroll one 11 oz. package refrigerated French bread dough onto a large cutting board. Transfer dough to cover outside of Baking Bowl pinching dough together at sides to seal. Bake 15-18 minutes or until deep golden brown. Remove to cooling rack and let stand 15 minutes. Carefully remove bread from Baking Bowl. Turn upright and cool 5 minutes.
This is a great recipe, but it makes one really large bread bowl. If you happen to have the Mini-Baking Bowl (which we stopped selling a while ago), you could probably make 2 out of one package of dough.

You're welcome. SusanL, I see you also live in PA. Is there a reason you're up so early?!! I didn't go to bed until after 1 AM! http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/redface.gif

It is CT time, so add an hour!
Yes, My DH is on at night so I have to get up early to post, thank goodness I am a morning person.
However, we just got a LAN system and can be on anytime we want! Yippee! Now I can get on whenever I want without hearing from downstairs: "Are you on the net? You just dumped me!"
Thanks for the recipe, but the group said No to the bread bowls until next month! I will try them before then, but thanks so much for the response!!
