Finally!!! It took 16 months, but the buyers that signed a contigency contract last year but didn't sell their house during the contract time came back. They just sold their house and bought ours. We are so glad to be getting rid of that extra mortgage payment. We got the news on St. Patrick's Day. Rob called me to tell me. I was at Loyola University having a liver procedure done to fix the "complication" I've had since my gallbladder surgery this past December. The complication turned out to be a cut duct. Because my liver and gallbladder were anatomically unusual, no one thinks it was malpractice, but it has been a lot of aggravation. I couldn't believe I got both done on one day.
I just hope the liver ordeal is over. I do have the head of the liver department and he does transplants, but he keeps talking about me not ever getting well because I have "so many problems", etc. Yeah, I had a stroke, no residuals, just take a blood thinner...have a bladder disease but have that under complete control and do have fibromyalgia but it to is completely taken care of with diet--no drugs. I'm afraid I'm not getting the best care because he doesn't think I'm worth his time.
At least the house is sold. We hope to close before May, and the way things look it may be mid April. :D
