My Cat Just Died:(

Hey all-My cat of 25 years princess just passed away:( She died of kidney failure, bless her heart and we'll be doing a memorial/burial service for her tonight.

Am not really sure what to say for it-but I'm sure I'll figure something out.

thanks all:) She lived a wonderful life full of kitty massages and lots of yummy treats-so I know she enjoyed it. We're going to lay her to rest near some beautiful spring flowers-she'll be happy there. Appreciate your warm thoughts.

When we lost our beloved tabby Widget last summer (hit by a car,) I couldn't think of a thing to say, but we found an Aztec-sun paving stone for his memorial. We've since moved, but we brought the stone with us. I think of him every day.

I know just how hard it is to lose a beloved companion and I know that your heart is breaking. 25 years sounds like such a long time, but it's too soon to be losing someone you love. I hope that your memorial went well - I'm sure that if you spoke from your heart you said the right thing.
