Two totally unrelated reviews, I know, but I thought I'd conserve board space http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif

Orchiette with Broccoli Rabe and Smoked Cheese: Loved it -- I usually tend to steer away from the less complicated, looks-pretty-hum-drum recipes, but this was fantastic. Something about the way the rapini was steamed in the chicken broth with the garlic and red pepper flakes just gave it awesome flavor. I served it over whole wheat penne and tossed in aged Gruyere instead of Smoked Gouda, but I imagine either way would be excellent. I actually made the same thing again for lunch today, but left out the cheese and served it over quinoa (okay, not really the recipe, but I have a feeling I'll be preparing my rapini like this quite often.)

Salmon Steamed in Watercress Sauce Forgive me for not knowing the issue date of this; I just clip and save, but it was also really yummy. The method for steaming the salmon in lemon juice with pepper made it really flavorful, and the sauce was delicious. I served it over a bed of watercress, as well. Really good.

Since broccoli rabe was on sale this week, I made this dish over the weekend. I used whole-wheat macaroni instead of orchiette, and smoked Gruyere instead of gouda.

It was very simple to make and great! I was a little worried that it would be blah, but the flavours came together wonderfully. I think the leftovers were even better because the flavours had melded together more.

Two thumbs up!

Can someone please post this recipe? I just bought Brocolli Rabe a couple of days ago, and this sounds like a good way to make it.
