I searched and did not find a thread on this recipe, so forgive me if this is a repeat. This recipe came from May 2000. We made it last night in our cooking group with the refrigerated french bread dough. It was wonderful. Today, I made it for my family using french bread dough made in my bread machine. It was also very good! I would highly recommend this for a little change from your regular side of bread. http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif
I made a variation of this recipe too recently - only I used fresh rosemary instead of the chives and it was great (much better and eaiser than some of my attempts at rolls from scratch). I just used frozen white bread dough.

These rolls also freeze really well. I quadrupled the recipe when I made it and froze the extras. Really easy to just pop a few out for dinner.

These sound very good, but I can't seem to find the recipe. Could someone post it please?

Yes, I believe that is the recipe. I used breadstick dough and that worked good too.
