Okay this one is easy, only two choices even though I know there could be an "other" or "who cares" option.

I chose ILLINOIS because I live in the state and my kids picked them in the pool to win (and as a result, so did I).

I chose Illinois too, because I think they're a very strong team and it's their year!

I chose Illinois because my husband is an alum and I don't want to find anywhere else to live!

Illinois, because they are just a better team all-around. UNC has had a good tournament, but over the course of the season they have been inconsistent. Plus, they have a ridiculous number of head-cases on their team.

Big 10 checking in. I was rooting for Michigan State even though it would have messed up my pool chances it would have been worth it for an all Big-10 championship game. :D

I'm voting for Illinois, for no real reason, except that I heard that they have never won the championship and NC has.

I vote Illinois, mainly because I'll win our office pool if they win. ;) But, like Erin, I also think it's their year.

Hey, are there no Tarheels here? I'm the lonely vote for UNC!

I voted Illinois as well, as I had picked Illinois and UNC to be in the final game with Illinois winning- might as well stick with that.

I think I read this morning that the bookies have UNC winning by 2 or something like that...

Right Laura. Where is everyone? Just wish the game started earlier. I'm going to have some tired kids in school tomorrow.

GO UNC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well Laura, even though we lost the poll we WON THE GAME. YAY UNC.

If only my neighborhood would quiet down so I could go to sleep. I live across the street from the mall and I can still hear the cars, horns, and screaming at the Park and Ride.

They proved to be the better team. BTW - my 13 year old went to school today wearing a NC T-shirt. I don't know if that was a good idea, but that is his favorite team, even though he picked IL to win.

What happened at school? I'm sure he got some ribbing for it.

Actually, not really since we live in an area where there are a lot on non-IL natives (including us). He said that a couple of other kids wore NC shirts as well. His band teacher did say he was surprised he was still walking though. I guess it proves that we aren't living in an area with sore losers, which is a good thing. :D

That's good to hear.

I love living in a college town. Basketball is such a big thing in this area. I made the mistake of calling about an apartment during a game when I moved here a few years ago. Well, I never made that mistake again!!!!
