Um, dumb question, but how do I remove the cork from a bottle of olive oil? I tried a corkscrew but felt like it wasn't doing anything. Should I use a corkscrew? I have no idea how else to remove it.

IF it's not above the top of the bottle (like a wine bottle) then yes I would use a corkscrew. I have had bottle where the cork has a "bulb" on the top and you just pull on those.

Nope, the cork is not above the bottle. I'll try again.
Thanks!

Why do they do that? I have several small bottles of olive oil with corks in them that are too small for a corkscrew. One of these days I am just going to push it down with an ice pick!
