ISO Cornmeal-Raisin Scones, CL 6/1995

Does anyone have the recipe for Cornmeal-Raisin Scones from Cooking Light June 1995? This volume is one of the few annuals that I don't have. I have the recipe, but am wondering if there is a mistake in my version. The result was a disaster, something like a cross between a huge flat cookie and a pancake? Thanks.

Judy if I have posted the thread correctly you will see that other people had the same problem. I haven't made them myself.

Lonetree 1353, thanks so much. You've answered both my questions. 1 - I looked at the thread and see that the recipe on it is exactly the one that I have and 2- someone else's scones turned out like huge flat cookies. At least it wasn't me. I thought that the addition of frozen blueberries added too much liquid, or that the use of dry buttermilk + water made the batter too soft.
