Now that I'm travelling considerably less, my husband and I would like to get together with like-minded lovers of good food and swap stories, recipes, jokes, etc.

I just noticed your post. We have a club going in Ann Arbor that has fizzled recently and we're trying to re-start it with some new people, so we'd love to have you join us. We meet about once a month. The host sets the theme and usually makes an entree and then the rest of the cooks make the rest. We have some singles and some couples; significant others are welcome as we always have too much to eat.
