I am not a huge broccoli fan, but a friend gave me this recipe that she adapted from a chinese cookbook and it has made a brocco-eater out of me.
Cut one supermarket-size bunch of broccoli into florets. In a large wok or skillet, heat one tsp sesame oil and one tsp vegetable or canola oil. Add broccoli and stir-fry one minute. Add 1-2 tsp sugar, 1 tsp salt and a little water. Turn down heat, cover and cook for two mins, uncover and cook for two more minutes. Serve sprinkled with toasted sesame seeds.
