Today was okay. I stressed a bit after a test and shared a Coca-Cola with a g-friend. It's not in my plan, per se but I did watch my portions of it (8 oz).

Breakfast
4 tbsp Greek yogurt with 2 tbsp granola
Hard cooked egg with butter
2 mugs coffee with cream and Whey Low

Dinner
Black bean soup with fresh tomato
1 cup Vanilla chai latte with 2% milk
Cinnamon wheat bagel with almond butter & a drizzle of honey

Supper
Mushroom and wild rice stew with chicken
Apples slices with a bit of monchego
8 oz Coca Cola

Not too bad today. I'm worried about tomorrow's lunch at work. We're going out to a Chinese restaurant, and will likely share a number of dishes. My plan is to stick to veggies.

Breakfast:
Oatmeal (2 pts), 1 cup skim milk (2 pts), coffee

Lunch:
Leftover chickpea and spinach curry (3 pts), 1/2 cup rice (2 pts), orange (1 pt)

Dinner:
Small piece of sirloin steak (5 pts), 1/2 cup pasta side (3 pts), steamed veggies

Snacks:
Fruit and veggie bar (2 pts), baby carrots, 4 cups popcorn (2 pts), and (at a small party for our secretary) a small slice of coffee cake (estimating 4 pts)

SO a little overboard on the snacks today, which is making me worry a bit more about the Chinese meal tomorrow.

If you are going to have Chinese vegetables in sauce, you might consider having shrimp or chicken (if they are not breaded/battered) as well. This would get you some extra protein, so lunch may stay with you longer. I think most of the points for Chinese are in the sauce, oil, and breading or batter. I usually fill up first on soup, most are 1-2 points per cup. Good luck.

My day:
BREAKFAST
Oatmeal low sugar 2
Wheat germ 1 TBS 1
Tea w honey 1

LUNCH
Subway Turkey sub 5
Light Doritos 2

SNACK
Dannon Creamy Yogurt w Fiber 1

DINNER
1 cup brown rice 4
Asian style cole slaw 2 cups 2
Thai Scallops and Asparagus (CL) 1 cup 5

SNACK
Strawberries 1 cup 1
Dannon La Creme Yogurt 1/4 cup 2

Total is 26, so used 2 WPAs.

Kimberly,
Thank you for that advice on the Chinese food. I think I did okay, considering most of the dishes ordered did contain some sort of breaded meat. I gently suggested maybe a tofu dish? No doing. So I picked a piece of meat and the vegetable garnish :D It's tricky dining out when I've only just started the WW program. Oh well, it will all come with time. At least I knew when to stop!
