ISO: Miso recipes

I bought this huge package of miso. It's not red or yellow -- it's black! The yellow stuff was twelve dollars because the only place I could find miso was Whole Foods (it's organic miso)! Eeeek! I can't seem to find any recipes on the web that call for black miso. I've substituted it for red miso with good results. I was wondering if anybody had any favorite recipes for red miso, or, better yet, recipes for black miso. I have a ton of the stuff and don't want it to go to waste! Thanks for helping. At my March CL dinner we had a wonderful baked vegetable dish with miso sauce. I think it was from the March issue and it contained leeks, eggplant and fennel. I picked out the fennel but the rest was delicious and the sauce was superb.
