Need info on Triple Chocolate Cheesecake

I am planning on trying this for the first time for a dinner party in a couple of weeks. The recipe calls for chocolate syrup and the only chocolate syrup I can find in the grocery is Hershery's. Should I go to a larger town and look for something else or have you made it with this?

I know some of you have made this with success in the past (which is why I am trying it) and would appreciate your comments on what product you used.

Pat, I didn't have any chocolate syrup when I made the cheesecake. If I remember correctly I substituted a bit of fudge ice cream topping - Smuckers. It worked wonderfully.

Thanks, KimKelly, I was wondering about using some Dove Chocolate Ice Cream topping, which is by Smuckers. I think the flavor is much better than the Hershey's syrup. Anyone else tried another product?

I have made this cheesecake a number of times -- it is one of our favorites! I have always used Hershey's syrup and had great success. The flavor of the cheesecake has been great and everyone who has tried it loves it and can't believe its lowfat :-) Hope you enjoy it!

Yes, I have to reinforce the other advice...hersheys is the way to go!

I used Hershey's Fat Free Sundae Syrup - Double Chocolate, and it was great. I took it to work and everyone thought it was VERY good and could not believe it was light.
