DD helped me change my avatar!!!!

I'm technologically challenged. I thought I was stuck with a boring generic avatar. It didn't help that our we were running OS9 on our old iMac and lots of things just don't work on that. We have a new laptop now and DD just helped me change my avatar! I'm so excited!! It went really smoothly--worked the first time. Just thought I'd share. :)

I've been meaning to get a more personal one since, well let's see, I registered three years ago....since 2002! Did your DD resize it for you or did you do it yourself? I gotta get to this.

Canice - Don't feel bad. I've been a member since 2000 and it was an ordeal to even figure out how to get one of the generic ones in place. :rolleyes: Talk about technically challenged! Never mind that I teach Internet classes at the library!:eek: But - I guess the glass of wine does fit me!;)

Thanks Canice and Peggy--I'm glad you like it.

Canice--we didn't have to resize it. We did an image search on Google and clicked on "small images." The one we chose seemed to be the right size for an avatar: all we had to do was copy and paste the URL. Easy! Hope that helps. I too have been meaning to do this for years, so there's hope for everyone!
