ISO Chinese Chicken Salad recipe

I hope someone can help me, I have looked everywhere. I am trying to find a recipe for "Chinese" chicken salad. I had this at a carry in lunch at work and never was able to find out who made it. It has shredded cabbage, water chestnuts, chicken, nuts, green onions and is in a sweet/sour type dressing. I can't remember if it had almonds or walnuts. Anyway, it was very very tasty and,I suspect, fairly healthy. Thanks for looking!

Between the active forum and our archives, you'd be amazed how much information we have stored over the past 10 months on this board. I did search, but not same one you did. I looked at the CL mail search site. None of the results were close to what I am looking for. I guess the CL search functions don't overlap. Thanks for the info & the links. I hope I didn't offend anyone by not searching in all the right places.

No, the searches don't overlap. One is for the recipes actually published in Cooking Light Magazine, the other search is relative strictly to the bulletin boards.
