I made a batch of crock pot chili, and have plenty of leftovers....can I freeze it??
I made it with ground sirloin and ground turkey, peppers, onions, and kidney beans...
TIA :)

I freeze chili all the time and never have had a problem with it. My DH doesn't like it, so I'll make a batch for myself and freeze some containers.

Chili is a reallly great food to freeze. I try to do individual servings along with a couple of bigger ones, it takes a snap in the micro to make a lunch that is healthy and quick!

If not, I would have had to bathe in it. We had 3 to 3-1/2 gallons left after the chili cook-off.

I always use a marker to identify what's in the zip loc bags.
