I give up!!! :( With my other computer if I had a Word document open and then I opened another document, it would come up in a separate Word program. (In other words *no pun*, there would be two Word programs showing in my bottom task bar.) That way I could easily glance down to see what was open and toggle back and forth between them. But now with this other computer, if I open another document it just shows up under the "Windows" drop-down list in the same program, and I have to click up there every time I want to change documents...no toggling. Does that make sense?

This computer is using Microsoft Office Word 2003, and the other computer is XP, so I don't know if that is the issue.

I also had another problem where every time I did a double hard return, the previous line would automatically format to a big bold Arial font. It’s been driving me crazy, but now I can't seem to recreate it.

I can answer the first problem. Click Tools | Options. On the View tab, put a check in front of Windows in Taskbar (upper right corner). Click OK. Now you will have a new instance of Word on your taskbar for each document you open.

The other problem is related to styles and the fact that formatting is stored in the hard return (paragraph symbol). You may be having a problem re-creating it because you are in a different document or different spot in the document. Sorry I can't be more help with that part.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! :D

The second problem started several days ago after DS was smashing around on the keyboard. So if it's just limited to certain document(s) then thats not a big deal.
