I know this is totally off subject, but don't you just love this show? It makes me laugh and cry. I enjoy all the characters. Even the pets. It's a nice way to end my week, especially when it's my weekend off!!!

...but do they have any recipes to share?

Well, there was an episode when Robbie made a special tomato sauce. Only we don't find exactly what it is. I think jarred sauce with some extras. Sounds like mine. Ha !

Ahh...and then there was the episode in which Joanie made her "famous" clam chowder with breast milk...yum?
Strike my earlier question!

Hi Gail, I guess you got more info than you needed to know? I have to say I never saw that episode about the clam chowder. Just the same, I love the show!

Oh, jazzcat, the clam chowder episode was hysterical! I think it was on the first season.
Perhaps we could persuade Joanie to share her recipes from The "Barkery"?

I love this show too and look forward to Friday night and well as Thursday (Survivor) and Saturday (That's Life). Joan is always cooking and yes I remember the chowder show.....that was a good one! http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif

I love that show, too! I pour myself a glass of wine, get comfortable, and relax. I look forward to my Friday nights! We live near Providence, RI, so I enjoy the actual footage of the city. BTW, Providence has great restaurants. I missed it last night (forgot to tape it) because we went to BJ's to get meat and paper goods for our cookout today. We're having five other families over. I really shouldn't be on the board this morning! Have a great day!!! http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/biggrin.gif

My very favorite show! I look forward to it every week. The family knows to leave me alone for this one.

Providence and E.R. are the only shows I watch. My television will be silent all summer because of reruns.
