I'm hosting a bring your own meat/drinks bbq on Sunday for a bunch of friends (some adults, some kids)

I'm planning on having:
Chips & Salsa
Pretzels

Potato Salad
Cole Slaw
Fruit Salad

Condiments - mustard, ketchup, relish

Texas Sheet Cake
Homemade Vanilla Ice-Cream
Assorted toppings for sundaes

Do I need anything else? Different munchies for before dinner?

I think your menu sounds fine. Maybe you could add some bruschetta for snacks if you have nice tomatoes available. It will appeal to the adults. Also, maybe some nice grilled corn on the cob with a couple of flavored butters. Easy and really good!

Have fun!:)

I second the grilled corn on the cob suggestion, especially with some herbed butter -- yum. Otherwise, sounds like you have everything covered. :)

You might want to provide a tray of sliced tomatoes, lettuce and pickles for topping for the various meet (if you think anyone will bring hamburgers).

Thanks, I forgot about the lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles. I do like the idea about the corn as well. Might have to do that inside though since my grill space is limited....

I think it sounds great, but would agree with those ideas for more vegetables of some sort, whether sliced tomatoes, corn, baked beans, or an appetizer like the bruschetta or even just a raw vegetable platter.
Have a good time!

Thats because you live in CA. I do have some in the house for the other natives :D However, its not something I personally encourage. I need red onions also with my lettuce and tomatoes :)

Maybe you could offer hummus with the pretzels and chips & salsa?

Your menu sounds wonderful! I'll bet your guests will really enjoy it.

I do agree on having bread available -- some folks consider a meal incomplete without it. Purchased pre-prepared garlic bread on sourdough would be fine.
