The recipe calls for ground coriander - this salad is on my list to try too!

LB,

I don't have time to type the entire recipe, but the spice is ground coriander. One comment about this recipe...When I made it, I thought the dressing was extremely thick. Almost like mashed fruit. You might want to thin it out a bit with juice or something else.

We made this salad at our dinner group this month and it was a huge hit. Everyone loved it and I plan to make it again this summer.

It was a big hit with my family. I followed the recipe, used the coriander, and felt the dressing was thick also, but it worked out great.

I made this tonight -- it's so delicious! I love it; it goes really well with my Caribbean theme -- lime daquiris, stewed Calabaza and Leeks over rice. Yum... the dressing is a bit thick, but I didn't mind it. And instead of mesclun, I used arugula and endive, and a bit more strawberries than the recipe called for. A repeater, for sure (although considering my track record for repeating recipes, I can't be so sure... http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif ).

I made this last weekend and we (DH and I) also liked it...I also found the dressing to be a little thick. Make sure you get ground coriander (or if you get whole, crush it before you add it)...probably a "no-brainer", but I only have whole coriander and I thought it would "crush up" in the food processor with everything else but it didn't.
