I just got my haul from Earthy Delights (http://earthy.com/?EDI=1f0f212ef940626cc8988cfcb7ee3fe6) , including some fancy wildflower honey in the comb. How do I eat it? Am I supposed to eat the comb, too? Or somehow squeeze the honey out of the holes without making a huge sticky mess?

I had a gift certificate I had to use up, so I got the honey, some fancy olive oil and balsamic vinegar, and two kinds of truffle oil, white and black. I also got some Ginger Wasabi dressing and a little vial of Fleur de Sel. It's fun to buy little samples of things I would never ordinarily spend money on!:D

When I was growing up in the 30's we always ate our honey along with the comb. The comb tastes a bit "waxy', but the combination was fabulous on hot toast !
There may be another way to eat it, but I'd always want it in its original form. Enjoy !!

we grew up with bee hives (dad still has them) and we used to LOVE to chew on the comb. we would just chew it like gum till the taste was gone then spit it out but others will chew it till its gone! ENJOY!

Some of the honey will drip out, so you can use that plain. I love to spread a piece of comb, wax and honey together, on toast. What a great gift certificate!
