Hi folks! I'm a newbie here. I'd like to know if there are any web sites (besides the Weight Watchers e-tools that cost $$) that will let you type in a recipe and then calculates the nutritional values for you.
Any ideas?

Welcome! :) You might try www.fitday.com-- it's a bit unwieldy, but it's free. A lot of folks around here also use Mastercook software (PC only) that's around $10 or so and has loads of features including nutritional information.

Hi Margie49!
I don't have Mastercook... I like a website called Nutritiondata.com. But admittedly, I mostly use it to check individual items. Sometimes I might check something like fiber or calories for all the items in something I'm cooking. I think it does have a tool to analyze recipes, but I haven't explored that. The thing I love about the site is that the pages load very fast (they keep pictures out), and it is also quite comprehensive. I think I first heard about it in either Cooking Light or Health magazine.
This may not really be exactly what you are looking for, but thought I'd mention it since it's been useful to me.

Thanks so much! I appreciate the info and will check it out. I hate to admit it, but I'm pretty sure I have the MasterCook program somewhere, but it was on an old computer, and I can't find the disks. Maybe when I have some free time----like between 3-4am!
Again, thanks!
