What kind of ice cream makers do you all have? I used to have a Krups, but was given a Cuisinart as a gift and much prefer the Cusinart, it's more powerful, takes less time to make the ice cream, and it comes out better I believe.

Glad to hear that you like the Cuisinart. Dh and I just bought one yesterday, but have not used it yet since the bowl takes a while to freeze. I may make some at lunch (I have the ice cream all mixed up-it just needs to be frozen).

Does anyone have any good low-fat ice cream recipes? I'm trying out the CL Citrus Ice Cream from CL Complete today.

I have a SCOOP FACTORY. It is just like the Cuisinart but cheaper. Got it in Costco 2 years ago. We too, are into lowfat, eating, so the icecream creations are too rich! I have been having good luck with making frozen yogurt. Here is the recipe I use.
I have boysenberries down the canyon, and I often use them in the frozen yogurt, raspberries and strawberries are also good!

That's a great site! Could you please tell me how I could lighten these recipes? Also, does anyone have a good light vanilla ice cream, or a vanilla frozen yogurt? With a basic recipes like that I'm sure I could add a lot to it and creat my own ideas. Thanks!
