Welcome KLynn, This is the best bulletin board. I can come here for any questions about cooking, or for ideas for recipes and my CL buddies always help me out. I have never been disappointed. It is such a great resource. Everyone is so friendly and willing to help out. It is addicting! I visit at least once a day during the week, but usually more. Weekends are harder for me to view as there is usually lots going on. Enjoy!

I just wanted to chime in as well... I just discovered this board about a week and a half ago and find the information completely wonderful! So often I wasn't sure about recipes in CL, and I love being able to read the reviews from others before I try one's that I am not sure about.

I am overwhelmed with the warm welcome!

I made my first CL recipe last night! My sister-in-law recently gave me the 2001 annual recipes, and that is how I discovered the magazine. I made the Shrimp and Squash Penne (from April, I think?). It was so good - tons of flavor. I'm quickly becoming hooked.

And speaking of hooked...you all aren't kidding when you talk about the BB being addicting! If my boss only knew...

I typed up a real nice welcome to you, and then I lost the whole thing, it was a fine note too. You would have liked it.

I mentioned what you already know, I'm sure, that there are some real fine people who contribute to this board, and that they are some really great cooks.

The fine people who contribute to this BB have given me some wonderful cooking advise and hints that I now use all the time.

Sharon and I have enjoyed making many, many recipes that I've gotten from the cooks here, and every time I open up my cookbook I think of them as I look over all the recipes, (I've tried and liked that I've gotten here,) when I am deciding what to cook.

(So to all you fine people and cooks on this board, if your ears ring from time to time, that's because I'm thinking good thoughts and sending them your way as I eyeball your fine recipes when I'm thinking about what to cook.)

Say, KLynn, since you live in Birmingham are you planning to attend the open house Cooking Light is planning in June for the members of this board?

Since it's going to be right in your back yard it should be a snap for you to get to.

Well anyway I welcome you and I'm certain that you'll enjoy this board as much as the rest of us do.
