No worries; as a former practicing attorney I am intrigued by the process not the defendant.

I posted on another thread, but I am suprised that they didn't convict on the alcohol related charges. I'm not that surprised by the other counts. I didn't follow the trial in any great depth, but from what i did hear or read, it didn't sound like the burden of proof was met (beyond a reasonable doubt). Now, I'll be glad when the media gets over the verdit commentary (or will it?).

Perhaps an understatement.

As I said elsewhere, you won't find my boys at Neverland, day or night.

I second that, but we don't send people to prison for being a total nut job. If we did, our prison system would be even more overrun than it already is! ;)

I wasn't surprised by the verdict - I continue to believe that MJ is guilty of nothing but being an absolute freak.

I believe he is guilty but if I had been on the jury I would have probably acquitted him as well. To send someone away for years and years I need to be very, very sure and this case there is reasonable doubt.

Unlike the OJ trial!!!!:(
