I did a search and could not find the other thread with reviews for this dish.
Let me just say...Yuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuummy! This was so easy to make after a long day at work, since most of the prep had been done the day before.
The mix of the lemon with spices was a nice touch.
Yum yum yummy. Am trying not to raid my fridge for the leftovers now.
I did omit the currants from the couscous, as I'm not really sure what those are (are they like raisons?) and I'm not too keen on cooked fruits anyway.

Thanks for the review. Currants are tiny raisins and very delish!

Another vote for this dish. The chicken was incredibly moist.

Yea! I'm glad this is good. I'm so looking forward to making this. I was going to make this last week but my stove/oven broke. What happened was actually pretty scary-the cord on it was bad and the electricity seems to have jumped it and burned the cord-we're just very lucky that it didn't cause a fire. The landlord should have it fixed by tonight, though, which is good because I'm in such withdrawal. I'll probably make this on Sunday or Monday. Yum.

This recipe looks good, but I'm confused about the currants in the couscous. It doesn't call for dried currants, but fresh currants are tough to get (not in season here yet) and kind of smooshy. Do you think they meant dried?

This was great. The chicken was moist and tender, not at all dry. I have made a great tandoori chicken from epicurious.com, but I decided to try this tonight. It was great, the only thing i had to do differently was use raisins rather than currants. I also stirred in sugar snap peas into the couscous. YUMMY :) I would definitley make this again.

There such a thing as fresh currants?????
Whenever I see a recipe asking for currants, I've always used dried (but maybe that's because I'm unaware of a fresh version). Actually, whenever a recipe calls for raisins or sultanas I use currants (yum!!!).
