Howard County MD/ Columbia area

Greetings,

I am a 30-something professional looking to join or perhaps begin a new social supper club in the Howard County, MD / Columbia area. I’ve seen some posts for this area, but it’s unclear if the openings are still there (could just be my less than savvy bulletin board navigating skills).

While I’m a Cooking Light reader from way back, my actual cooking comes in well intended bursts depending on work and travel commitments, and I would love an opportunity to dive back in and explore new dishes with company that is looking for enthusiasm, not perfection. Also had the thought of visiting some of the area pick-your-own farms to take advantage of fresh, local produce to build dinners around.

Hi Christine,
I also live in Columbia and would love to start a group in this area. I was involved with a cooking group in Annapolis/Bowie for several years and it was lots of fun. That group kind of fell apart and I thought it would be great to get a group started here in Columbia.
Do you have any idea of what kind of a group you'd like to start? Couples, just women, etc.
I love the idea of going to pick your own places.

Hello,
I am also a Columbia lady who was just looking around for a cooking club. If there is a club I would be definitely interested, but I am also up for starting our own club. I am a 26 year old who loves her cooking. If there is no problem with it, my husband would be interested in participating, although not insulted if you would like to keep it to only ladies.
