Hi,

We have a cooking club that has been around for about 4 years. 2 couples from our group have moved to new areas. So, we are looking for new members to help rejeuvenate our group. Most of the group lives in the Northwest suburbs - but we stretch from Naperville to Buffalo Grove. If your interested PM me or post, and I'll tell you more details about our group and how it works.

Here how our club works. We usually get together every 2 to 3 mos - with the loss of members the frequency of our dinners have decreased. Someone volunteers to host or hostess and sets the theme (themes have included Korean, grilling, comfort foods, Greek). Everyone finds recipes and receives approval from the host or hostess (we usually try to stick with CL recipes and bring copies to the dinner for everyone). Some of the dishes are brought fully prepped while others people bring ingredients and we prepare together.

We have also had a chef come to one of our dinners and have gone on field trips to local restaurants, wine shops & Penzey's. Don't hesitate to PM me or post if you have any specific questions.

My husband and I live in Bartlett and are interested in finding a supper club and meeting new people! What better way than over a good meal?! Are you still looking for members? Can I provide you with any other details?

We still are looking for new members. We just had a dinner last weekend and 1 new person from the BB attended. The theme was summer grilling. My husband, Bryan, and I were the hosts. Incidentally, I live in East Dundee - so we are practically neighbors. Why don't you send me a PM if your interested and I will add you to our mailing distribution. We are planning an October get together and we'll start planning after Labor Day.

Glad to hear that you are interested! Send me a PM with your e-mail and we'll add you to our distribution list We will start planning our next get together after the Labor Day Weekend. The initial plan was October - and right now we are thinking a fieldtrip to a restaurant.
