I love optical illusions and thought I'd share this one:

You should see a + surrounded by magenta dots. Focus on the + and the dots should rotate around the + and then you will see the odd one turn to green, really focus and the magenta should disappear altogether and you will see a single green dot.

That is cool! Is green opposite to magenta on the color wheel or wavelength or something along those lines that cause the color change? Because when you blink, you see magenta again (and still some green).

Very cool! I LOVE optical illusions. But now when I refocus on something else or close my eyes, I see green spots!
(However, when I first saw this thread, I couldn't help but think of a friend of mine from Scotland who refers to love affairs as a "bit of fun!" :o As in, he/she's married but has a little bit of fun at the office he/she sees after work.)

Loren,
It has to do with brain perception or something like that...

As long as we're sharing eye-bogglers...
Focus on the center and move your head constantly towards and away from it. You should see the circles rotate!

Cool! Kind of reminds me of the Magic Eye books - remember when they were all the rage?

I was just thinking of those... I loved them but DH hated them because he could never see the hidden image! Here's a whole site of them: http://www.magiceye.com

While I don't hate them they do make me feel cross-eyed trying to see the image...which I never seem able to do!

Ok - I can't imagine how weird I look with my nose to the computer screen trying to "see" the image :D . I might just have to go in search of those books, I know they are in my house somewhere,

My daughter just walked in and asked what I was doing! I wear contacts and it's really hard when I don't blink often and they begin to dry out!
