I'm moving to Seattle in about 3 weeks with my boyfriend and brother. Does anyone have any suggestions for good rental neighborhoods out there? I'll be working in Wallingford and I've already sold my car (hope the public transportation is good). Oh, we're all in our 20s and looking for a neighborhood with a pulse.
Thanks

You would probably like living in Wallingford. Great restaurants, easy bus transportation to downtown, close to UW & the U-district. Another area you might consider is Freemont which is also close to Wallingford and everything else I listed. A lot of people like Queen Anne and some people like Capital Hill. Both have excellent bus transportation and restaurants/bars. If you were interested in living in downtown Seattle, a popular area is Belltown which is sandwiched between the Seattle Center and the the waterfront. Again, easy bus transportation and restaurants.
Pretty much any neighborhood in Seattle is going to have a "pulse". You might also consider Greenlake/Greenwood although that might be a bit $$$ more than the others mentioned.
Let me know if you have any other questions - I would be happy to answer them.
